Big Ride Day 5: My Private Idaho

We are now leaving Salt Lake City on our way to Idaho - where we'll stay tonight. Last night we stayed in an Airbnb and it was on a steep hill in a beautiful part of the city. Nearby was a  Nepalese restaurant where we had excellent mo-mos among other food.
Our digs were in a basement above a house. Annoyingly a party started up above my room and didn't end until 1am. A real loud drunken affair. But at least the digs had comfy beds and a decent shower.
My health continues to be good (as does the other two). Looking forward to more spectacular cycling in Missoula.
This afternoon, we arrived at a Green glamping site in Idaho. Maple Grove Natural Hot Springs in Oneida Valley. They have yurts (which we are staying in tonight) and outdoor hot tubs etc. AB & SB went straight for the hot tubs. I spent the afternoon doing a long reservoir and riverside cycle ride for many miles into the Idaho countryside. It was wonderful. I was so happy. I cycled the whole of the Oneida Valley, just following the Bear River. I did not see a single person in 15 or 20 miles! I also didn't see any bears, thankfully, as this is black bear country.
Perhaps this is the most remote I've ever been.
I finished this hard-but-wonderful ride with a soak in the hot springs.
Tomorrow is the last leg back to Missoula, and back to the house. After that, it's cycle rides deep into Montana countryside.
