I am feeling so much better, thanks to rest and the right medicine.
Today we drove many miles into the Majarashtran countryside to Mangoan village. Many people were there to greet us. These are people living simple lives in a farming-based culture. Because they are Buddhist, it is crops-only farming. Not animal farming.
We had a day retreat in Mangoan village hall. Around 100 were there. AB & SN led things. The theme was 'The importance of gratitude'.
There was lots of outside noise from country tractors roaring up and down! Because of my rural background, I can't help being interested in Indian tractors. The most popular tractor is Farmtrack 60 Powermaxx. I would love to drive one. They are everywhere.
I am eating less and I think I'll lose weight this way. I am also avoiding sugar. Tonight I will do more exercise back at the hotel.
This evening we are going to another country programme. Both the food and weather are very hot here! There are no mild Indian currys in this region.
The evening event in Hupari was fun. We had tasty food in a restaurant beforehand. Everyone is so friendly, streightforward and genuine.
We got back at 10.30pm. Tomorrow we go sight-seeing in Kolhapur
