INDIA 2025

This is the start of my blog for India 2025. I'll be spending a month in India, starting from New Years Day. 

My trusty bags are packed and I'm ready to head out to Heathrow tomorrow with my friend, Sanghanath.

The last time the bags were packed was early April 2024, when I set out on a Transatlantic flight to Missoula, Montana. 

What a trip that was! A month of cycling through Utah, Idaho and Montana - right up to the Canadian border. I shall never forget it.

This trip is different - India. So much travel is planned over this subcontinent: Mumbai, Kolhapur, Pune, Nagpur, Bhopal, Alwar, Bodhgaya. Probably other places, too. Lots of touring and lots of activity with five good friends.

It is my 12th trip to India since 2003, so I know what to expect - which is the unexpected. India always has surprises.
