Way on down to Frisco

We got into Logan, north of Salt Lake City around 9.15 last night. We stayed in a tiny cabin with bunks and all mod cons. It was a kind of low-cost cabin park for travellers.
I slept deeply and awoke refreshed. Yesterday was the most amazing road trip of my life so far. Idaho State just seemed to be nothing but incredible mountains, forests and rivers. Very few people!
Today we breakfasted in sunshine and headed into the enormous Salt Lake City - the capital of Mormonism. We found the great temple which is totally huge, but currently covered in scaffolding. It's having a total restoration.
After lunch in this ultra-clean city, we have started south on a three- hour drive to the first of the Southern Utah National Parks we are riding through. A place called Frisco. We'll get our tents pitched in the wilderness tonight if all goes well.
