Trip into the wilderness

Today was wonderful. SB and I drove out to wider Montana to see the most fantastic scenery ever. We visited a reservation for bison (buffalo), and then went on to visit Varada at her ranch in the mountains. She has a horse, chickens and three dogs. Also a big house overlooking the prairie.
All around us were the
most magnificent mountain ranges I have ever viewed, with snow everywhere.
On the way back we visited a Tibetan Buddhist centre built off the main highway in a scenic valley. It was an extraordinary place.
Unfortunately, on returning to Missoula, I started to notice symptoms of an occasional condition I get - a urinary infection. If left untreated, it can develop into something serious. AB immediately took me to a private medical centre where I was treated with great efficiency and with the friendliest doctor ever.  Same thing at the pharmacy. Within one hour and £142.02 later, I had the prescription for the cure in my hands. Very impressive, but expensive.
Tomorrow the plan is for me to get a 'bike fit' in the bike shop, i.e. have a pro adjust my bike to exactly suit my proportions. This makes a big difference on a big ride.
