Day 9: An easy-going day

Amazingly, we don't seem to have anything planned for today. A chance for some quiet time.

Tomorrow, we head to Mumbai again by car. From there, we fly to Nagpur for a few days, and then on to Bhopal.

Sant Tukaram Vihar

We rode the swish new metro into town. I was very impressed. We also visited the Sant Tukaram vihar, walked around the locality and lunched with friends.

Sant Tukaram was a 17th century musician and poet. His poetry was influenced by Kabir and was mainly focussed on social reform and creating an equal society.

Tomorrow we head out to Mumbai by car and catch a one hour flight to Nagpur.

It has been great to rest up today. The last nine days have been demanding!
